Blue Sodalite is primarily blue, but can be found in shades of gray, yellow, green and pink. The blue is typically interspersed with white calcite or black nepheline, giving it a marbled effect. Often mistaken for lapis lazuli, the blue sodalite contains flecks of pyrite, giving it a beautiful shimmery quality.
Sodalite is sometimes considered a guardian for heroes and heroines, especially those who speak truth and power. (May be this is the reason so many of the fictional superheroes have blue in their costumes.) It is also said to organize the mind, promote rational thinking, objectivity and perception. It is used to cleanse lymph nodes and boost the immune system. It is assigned to the Throat Chakra, enabling you to access your inner vice, finding the strength to share your gifts with others.
